Isle of Wight
Hang Gliding & Paragliding Club
Visiting Pilots

If you are visiting the Isle of Wight to fly for the first time please make sure you call a committee member to inform them. Like anywhere some of our sites are sensitive and you will need the up to date information and a sites guide.
We welcome visiting pilots from all over the world - as long as they have the courtesy to look after our sites so that we still have them when our visitors have left!
You will have to be a member of the BHPA or its equivalent if you are not from the UK. You will also need to join the IWHGPC.
We are a very small club, and rely on subs to maintain our sites, so if you are a member of any UK club, then we would encourage you to join as an associate member. It's dirt cheap at just £15, and is valid until the end of the year.
Contact the Club Treasurer - Laurie Gavaghan, Mobile: 07815830546 Email: laurie@gavaghan.net or Temporary Membership and send it to the address given on the form.
or use the Google checkout facility below
The club has recently agreed a 10% travel discount for anyone travelling via Red Funnel (Southampton to East Cowes). Click here for details
